Established in January 2024, Portage Iron is just getting started. However, our professional team is already familiar with the unique requirements of the local commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors. We have the knowledge, manpower, equipment and machinery, and the creativity to manufacture the innovative steel solutions our customers need.

Fabrication
Offering a full-service shop containing modern equipment such as a CNC drill line, plasma cutting table, CNC brake and plate roller, our CWB-certified welders are equipped to tackle any project that should land in our shop, big or small. If you can envision it, our workers can build it!
Installation
The innovation, quality, and value that our field installation crews bring to the table are second to none. With great attention to quality and consistency, our workers have decades of experience in problem-solving challenging installations, and ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction.
Our project experience ranges from ornamental metal works to industrial process equipment installation and everything in between. Our on-site supervision, safety, and quality control management ensures successful installations, and satisfied customers, resulting in long-lasting partnerships.

We are proud to offer a full Millwright Division, specializing in installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of process equipment.
